Few lines about me
Hi! My name is Norbert, and two things define my life: race walking and the journey it has taken me on. Over the past years, I’ve had the opportunity to represent my country in several international competitions. Below, you’ll find some of the highlights of my athletic career.
Olympics
In 2024, during my first year as a senior athlete, I qualified for the European Athletics Championships in Rome and was selected as a reserve for the marathon mixed race walk relay at the Paris Olympic Games.
National Champion
In 2018, as an under-18 athlete, I won my first national championship. Since then, I’ve stood on the podium nearly 40 times across various age groups. In 2024, I claimed my first senior national title as well.
International Competitions
Since 2023, I’ve competed in more than 20 international events, consistently finishing in the top half of the field. I also set four national records – all at international meets.
The Ultimate Goal
In 2024, I proved that I belong on the Olympic team. For 2028, my goal is to qualify for the Los Angeles Games in my own right. Through my results, I also aim to contribute to the renewal and international recognition of Hungarian race walking — but for that, I need dedicated partners who believe in me and in this rebuilding journey.
